August you were good – like really good! You gave me one of the best experiences of my life, opportunities I never dreamed of came knocking on my door and you gave us great weather last Saturday – whats not to love about that? I am leaving this month behind knowing change is coming, inspired and damn it, summer is almost here!  I wanted to take a moment to reflect back on the last month and think about all the good things that happened, the little things that made me smile and the things that made me laugh – its time to take stock (original idea from Pip, at Meet Me At Mikes)

Making : Dr appointments these last 3 weeks – one after another we have all dropped like flies around here.
Cooking : Fried rice, burritos and lots of butter chicken!
Drinking : So much champagne at ProBlogger!
Reading : Left Neglected by Lisa Genova.
Wanting : To be a full time blogger – ah thats the dream!
Looking: Forward to SPRING!! Can it hurry up already please!!
Playing: Memory with Miss 4 – and she beats me every damn time.
Deciding: All decisions have been made – nothing left in the air at the moment and its a great feeling. Although perhaps I have missed something?
Wishing: Some one would buy my damn car – seriously!! Know anyone who wants to buy a 2008 Kluger in Wagga Wagga or nearby? Maybe you want to buy it?
Enjoying: A hint of warm weather.
Waiting: I’m not waiting for anything, but Mr 5 is desperately waiting for a tooth to become loose. Actually I can wait for that. Loose teeth freak me out. Bergh… gross. I don’t do those gummy smiles either… nothing cute about that!
Liking: Everything and everyone at Problogger. What an experience.
Wondering: If I made the right decision when I said yes to something  that I wish now I didn’t!
Loving: Mum visited us last week!
Pondering: What to get The Mr for Fathers Day.
Considering: Well The Mr thinks Leo the pooch needs a friend so I guess he is considering a new dog. Not happening mate!
Buying: Summer clothes for the kids.
Watching: I Am Cait – obsessed with this show.
Hoping: The Mr doesn’t find my hidden stash of Lindt chocolates.
Smelling: The new Gucci perfume, Bamboo.
Wearing: New espadrilles from Seed. These ones. Heres a tip – go up a size, maybe even two!
Following: I prefer to say stalking (its true) – My new friend Rebel – she is bloody hilarious and absolutely gorgeous and does some fine note taking – I’m talking like she had highlighters, those coloured sticky tab things and decorated her notes with little pictures – the lady can doodle! She could probably doodle a doodle if I asked her…
Noticing: How close it is getting to Christmas. It’s like 4 months away.
Admiring: My new Chain of Hearts plant. Lets take a bet – I give it 6 months before I kill it.
Sorting: Out my website for my new business – man that takes a lot of time and I seem to get getting nowhere fast!
Coveting: Holiday houses with friends – lets do it ladies…ok?
Disliking: Miss 4 being booked in for surgery in 3 months. Has to be done but no one likes to see their children have a general anaesthetic.
Opening: Emails from lovely readers! Keep them coming – I love them!
Giggling: At Mr 5 singing his school song. How can you not laugh when he prefaces his performance by asking you not to laugh.
Feeling: Exhausted. The flu hit me hard, I then flew up to Problogger, had my mum visit and I am exhausted.
Snacking: Still snacking on hummus, celery and carrot. I think I was snacking on it last month as well… I’m still obsessed with it.
Helping: Sight words and more sight words… anyone else over it already?
Hearing: This song – The kids and I don’t like it, we love it!!  In the car – loud!

How was your August? Tell me all the things! Did you go to ProBlogger too?
