SOLVING YOUR PROBLEMS: TEEN BOY BEDROOM
One thing I love about my little old blog here is when I receive lovely emails from you guys. I received such a message on Facebook the other day from Sarn who is restyling her sons bedroom now that he is a bit older and was after some ideas. I like a challenge and styling a bedroom for a teenage boy is something I’ve never had to do, so challenge accepted!
Some tips are to replace the sheets, choose either a neutral colour if using a coloured quilt cover or coloured sheets if using a black quilt – no characters are allowed! If you are feeling bold, pattern clash works a treat as well. Make sure there is heaps of storage! Pop some art up onto the wall (Adairs and Typo have some great affordable wall art) and replace the toys with some more cool and grown up decor pieces.
I tend to choose monochrome quilt cover for boys, but don’t be afraid to use colour. I think Adairs have the best range for teenage boys, but also look in the grown up section too. My Mr 5 has a grown up quilt cover on this bed! Here is what I found for a teen boy bedroom –
