KMART HACKS : ROUND 2
I think we’ve all gone a little Kmart hack crazy lately! And it doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. After the so much wonderful feedback on my first Kmart hack post and a number of emails requesting a follow up post (hi Christy, Kara and Jade!) I am back today with Kmart hacks round 2. I didn’t think I could find anything better than the ones I featured last time. But I did –
This is my fav! @kristie_maree_ used the copper Kmart clock and some marble contact to create this stylish copper and marble tray. She gives instructions on the original photo in her feed if you are keen to do the same.
The clever @kristie_maree_ is behind this hack as well. She turned the leather strapped mirror into a funky wall shelf with the help of her clever hubby.
@stefandindie has completely changed the look this kids table and chairs set. A fresh coat of white paint and then dipped in copper has transformed this set from drab to fab.
This Kmart vase has been given a pretty and soft make over with some pink paint, perfect for a little girls room by @what_isla_wore . I have seen this vase in a number of new colours, each perfectly matched its surrounding decor. Its geometric design is very on trend at the moment.
I absolutely love this one! I have two of these pots waiting for some special plants to arrive. @jenny.rowell removed the chain and replaced it with this rope and geometric bead instead.
This bargain Kmart clock has been given a cheery make over by @_lightningheart with some washi tape! So easy and so effective.
There are lots of ladies hacking these copper candle holders into pendant lights. But what I loved about this one (beside the gorgeously styled bedroom) is how @me_and_ly_chi has also used the wooden arm to hold the pendant rather than have them hang down from the ceiling.
@fourlittleducksbydesign has turned her copper candle holder into a plant pot! And doesn’t it look amazing. I love how the green works with the copper.
Some marble contact and gold paint has turned the Kmart clock into a stunning feature for @bowsandarrows4baby‘s home.
Big thanks to all the ladies from Instagram that allowed me to use their Kmart Hacks and images! Thank you!!!
What do you think? I am thinking that I wish I had just one ounce of that creativity and that my local Kmart would up their game and start stocking the good pieces. I missed out on a copper candle holder. Sold out in a day here in Wagga. Damn it! Get more Kmart hack inspiration here. And be sure to pop over to our Facebook page – its where we all hang out and chat!
