Indoor Plant Styling Ideas
I am sure you’re not shocked to see a blog post about indoor plants again! This time it is indoor plant styling. I am obsessed so I figured you must be as well? Am I right? I am creating my own indoor jungle in my new home, slowly adding to my plant family, researching unique and different plants. This also means I am looking for creative ways to display my plants other than pots on floors (which is mostly the current situation). I am really enjoying my plants… hubby not so much ha!
Here are some styling ideas on how you can show off your beloved plant family.
GET YOUR POTS OFF THE FLOOR
Add height and interest by using a pot stand with your favourite pot and plants.
A cute stand is the perfect way to showcase a group of unique and complimentary plants. Add a tall plant mixed with some smaller ones. Add some special trinkets and all your garden for a cute vignette. Source
I love this idea! I have put up two shelves in my living area close to a north facing window and I want to fill it with my favourite small plants. Have fun with colourful pots or keep to a neutral palette so the plants are the feature.
PLANT SHELFIE 2
Long draping plants deserve to be placed up high so that you can admire their beauty.
GO BIG OR GO HOME
A oversized plant is quite often a unexpected but welcome surprise to any home. Add interest with one or two smaller plants nearby.
GROUP THEM TOGETHER
Get the plant gang together and fill that empty corner. The added bonus is that this little gang will create some humidity and we all know indoor plants love a little humidity. Be sure to use some stands to create height.
It could be tough choice between a bar cart and a plant cart, but the plant cart would win in my home!
HANG THEM HIGH AND HANG THEM LOW
One plant styling idea I haven’t tried yet is hanging them and I am…ah….hanging to try it haha!! In all seriousness though I love the idea of filling a window with all my favourite plants. I just adore this look, I think my husband would probably shoot me if I tried it though. But even a group of three would look amazing!
There you have it. 8 new ways to get those pots up and off the floor to make your plant family a feature in your home.
