Hanging Pots Ideas You Can Do This Weekend.

I’m loving hanging pots at the moment. I wanted to give you some hanging pots ideas as I have been trawling the internet for some inspiration. I have two string of pearls under our patio which were looking amazing. And then the dogs ate them. Those pooches are lucky to be alive – string of pearls are toxic to dogs and my two ate a lot! I can’t wait to be able to hang some in the new house, under the back alfresco and under the porch. I might turn into the crazy hanging pots lady.Β I’ve noticed a lot of hanging plants in home magazines, around the web and on Pinterest. It was all about potted indoor plants a little while back, but now its all about hanging indoor plants. And I guess we have run out of floor space and table tops – its time to go up!

So grab some pots, plants, potting mix and an assortment of nails and hooks and have a go at these hanging pots ideas this weekend! Tag me @oururbanbox on InstagramΒ so I can have a look!

Here are some ideas for you!

I just love this idea – using two oversized hanging plants as a statement in your bedroom! LOVE!!

Ok so that one is a bit of overkill but it could definitely work in the right space – high ceiling, loads of light, white space – I am thinking of a old grand home that has a spare room.

This looks great over a stair well or could also suit a long wide hall way!

I love everything in this photo! See how they have grouped three hanging pots together but at different heights?

Stay tuned for a blog post in the coming days all about the best plants for hanging baskets!

See you soon!

I love hanging pot plant the only problem is remembering to water them and if they’re inside it’s even harder as you don’t want them to drip all over the floor!

This has given me so much inspiration Fleur. We have just put some privacy screening around our front door and I want to put some hanging plants on one of the screens. I will make sure to take photos and share when I get to it!

I keep thinking about getting some hanging pots, but then I never do. I think the issue is having somewhere to hang them; I’m just unsure.
