Hey there! How has the start of the week treated you? Got any exciting news to share? Go on, tell me! I have nothing that great to share at the moment. The start of the weekend is so ho hum for me. Thursday is my favourite day of the week. I only work a short day (9am – 3pm) and then 3 days off. I love my three day weekend. Actually Fridays should be my favourite day. I am child free on fridays. Duh, I keep forgetting ha! Yes, lets make Friday my favourite.

➕ On Fridays I do this –

IMG_6016Lunch and a sneaky vino with the girls. Oh and doing a book club order for the kids. Do you remember do that at school? I LOVED IT!! Mum would always buy me books as I was such a saved reader. I remember getting all of The Babysitter Club books. I am loving doing the same for my kids. Mr 5 got some beginner level readers about superhero, and Miss 3 got the same, but they were frozen themed. Hopefully they arrive in time for Easter.

➕ Last Friday, Mr 5 had his very first school disco. There was more running around and being silly than actual dancing, but it was fun all the same. We all went, you know, being his first one. Neither of us wanted to miss out so we all went! This is what Miss 3 gives me when I try to get a nice photo of her. She’s definitely got spunk this one.

➕ I am pretty sure that now is not the right time to try and propagate a clipping from any plant, let alone a fussy fiddle leaf fig. But I had two wayward stems that were driving me batty. They had to go! Instead of just tossing them, I thought bugger it, I will see what happens. I will be sure to keep you posted on how it’s going.

➕ I bought acid wash jeggings. I ummed and ahhed about it thinking I was too old. But nope! I bought them and love them. Fav jeans of the season I think.

➕ I went fishing with my Dad one Saturday morning. It was so lovely and peaceful on the boat. And it was great getting to spend some time with Dad. We didn’t catch anything. But as Dad says “A bad day fishing, beats sitting at home” – couldn’t agree more Dad.

Oh I had forgotten about bookclub…I loved getting those parcels delivered on your school desk – so very exciting…for some reason neither of my kids schools have them? My Dad lives in Holland so our visits are very special when they happen, my Mum moved to Sydney last year (after 25 years not living in the same State), so we are making up for lost time and do lots together. Folks are Fabulous. x PS loving your acid wash jeggings – very cool…

Your friday’s look amazing! All my child free days involve coffee and a text book, but I do love it anyway. 🙂

Loving Miss 3’s style – and attitude. I had my hair styled into a mohican over the summer – figured what the hell and I got a load of compliments on it so yay to your jeggings. It’s good to go outside the box sometimes.

Sounds like you have had a great week. I remember book club, but Mum would never buy anything for me. I think I have more than made up for it with Mr 5 though lol!
