A PEEK AT OTHERS KMART STYLE
If you’re anything like me, you may need a little help when it comes to decorating your space. Each month I pour over the glossy interior styling magazines and dream of recreating those pages in my home. But we are renting at the moment so that limits what I can do and I am Betty Budgeter while we save the last bit for our house build next year. Funds are damn tight. There just isn’t any money there for $60 cushions, or $200 artworks. And even if there was, why spend money you don’t need to when there are more affordable options out there, that when styled can look just as good as the more expensive option or even better.
All you need is a little cash, some inspiration and you’re on your way to a perfectly styled home.
Lets take a peek today at how others have styled Kmart products in their home.
Who doesn’t love a Frenchie (canvas from The Reject Shop)? Lauren from @luluandlaila is the face behind this magic. She has the Kmart copper dipped vase and Kmart gold foil print (both of which seem to be infamously scarce like the copper candle holder) paired brillantly with marble and monochrome tones.
Lucky @the_wall_collective has her own range of stunning wall hooks – she needs them to hold up her trio of Kmart leather strap mirrors. Things look better in three’s right?
@rroardesign is the creative force behind this fun little girl room. So many Kmart products in this room and just how good does it look? The stool, rabbit light, hacked ampersand light, pink and gold spot cushion, sun cushion and I think even the bed is the Kmart metal bed. This room really does prove that you don’t need to spend a lot of money in kids bedrooms to make their space fun and amazing.
This may be my favourite today – only because I have used the same doona cover and Kmart cloud cushion in my little girls room. I also spy the Kmart aqua heart light. @b0ndas styling is spot on in this room.
@marita_brown_69 is one clever cookie, not only has she styled her Kmart clock and candle holder with the delicate chain of hearts, but she also hacked her candle holder into a lamp by adding LED lights on a string. I really love the chain of hearts in this pic. I have my mum growing one for me at the moment. This side table styling is so simple and so effective.
I heart this donna cover so much… its on my wish list. @mollyturton has combined the Kmart Trent Quilt cover with a fresh pop of yellow to make a bright and cheery bedroom. How spot on is her bedside table styling as well?
@chuckandtaz has styled the Kmart copper clock perfectly in her kitchen. The mix of wood, copper and white geometric tiles is the perfect combination.
I almost picked up this stunning white planter the other day. I wish I did. @me_and_zebedee has planted a little bit of Jade in hers. Did you know that Feng Shui says that if you put a Jade plant by your front door money will come in, and a Jade plant by your back door to stop money flowing out. There lies my problem, I have a Jade plant at the front door, and not one at the back!
Here is my favourite quilt cover again. @richellezara has teamed the quilt cover with the Kmart side table and Kmart hexagon white Vase in this bedroom. Love the touches of pinks and golds also.
How good do all those Kmart products look in every day homes? Pretty darn good I’d say. Now I am off to go get me one of those trent quilt covers before they disappear for ever.
